i cleaned my MAP sensor with WD40 and used it till i received my new one and it worked well.
Can I clean my map sensor with MAF cleaner?
A MAF (Mass AirFlow) sensor actually has air passing by it and it may collect crud if one uses one of those “oiled Guaze” filters. HOWEVER: A MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor does NOT have air flowing past it. Instead, it is simply a PRESSURE sensor. It either works or it does not.
Can I use alcohol to clean map sensor?

This is because you don’t want them to get wet because if they do, it can short them out and damage the sensor. Once you have the wires covered, you can spray the sensor down with the alcohol using the bottle. The alcohol will break down the grim on its own and does not need to be rubbed.
