Haley Slaton and Myles D. Jordan met each other for the first time while auditioning for the American Idol season 20 and the rest is history.
Haley Slaton grew up in the Church singing since she was 3 years old. Auditioning for the American Idol is something that Haley wanted to do for a long time despite being pregnant.
Haley sang The Climb by one of the most renowned singers Miley Cyrus. After, Haley finished singing one of the judges Luke Bryan commented, “It was not a perfect audition. There were some amateur moments but there were real moments.”
But Katy Perry added, “When I was pregnant I had to drop everything down a bit, like half step singing. So I feel you.” She requested another song and Haley sang “One and Only” by Adele.
The judges were impressed after the second song Haley sang and gave her a golden ticket, a gateway to go to Hollywood.

“We got married pretty quick,” she said. “We just knew. We started right off the bat talking to each other, and it ended up being an everyday thing.”
Haley continued, “I was already pregnant, and he stepped up to be a father, and I couldn’t thank him enough for that. We’re very in love, we’re very happy that we met, and I feel like another reason why I was on the show was to meet him.”
The pair have already guessed a name for her baby boy which is Jaelyn Amir Myles and plan to move to Cedar Rapids, Iowa in May where Haley is originally from.

Haley Slaton is 23 years old meanwhile her husband Myles D. Jordan might be in his late 20s around 25 years old. There is not a huge gap between them as they both seem to be young.
Haley shared, “I am so blessed because I actually met my husband during our auditions in Texas and we got married on Christmas Eve!!” in an interview with KHAK.
The pair married in December 2021 short after meeting with each other in September 2021 during the auditions for ABC’s American Idol. Jaelyn was welcomed to the world in January 2022.
