Haley Grace Phillips Missing

Hayley Grace spoke out on the case of mistaken identity on Instagram amid concerns from worried social media users.

“Thank you, everybody, for worrying … and also thank you for making me post a picture of me with my recovering black eyes. I was robbed this weekend. I’m fine. Okay? I am not kidnapped,” Haley said in a video posted on her Instagram status.

“And this my phone and I am real and this is a real account. So, everyone stops bothering me…I don’t know who this Cassie b**** is, I am Haley Grace, and I’m fine,” she declared.

Twitter users had different opinions on Haley’s video.

“I still don’t think that Haley Grace Phillips girl is ok. she doesn’t even post dolled up selfies on Instagram anymore and she wears her hair and clothes completely different now.. & who are them, dudes, with her in the other video?” one social media user wrote on Twitter in response to her video. All this s**t really hurts me, she doesn’t deserve any of this. She seems lost, she has no more hope; she doesn’t have that sparkle in her eyes anymore,” another wrote.

“if #HaleyGracePhillips was supposedly robbed, why wouldn’t they have taken her phone?? she’s definitely being trafficked,” another theorized.

Who is Cassie Compton

On Sunday, September 14, 2014, Cassie Compton went missing. The then 15-year-old was last seen outside her Stuttgart home. On the day of her disappearance, she went to a demolition derby in Dewitt with a family friend and returned home just before 7 p.m. She left a few minutes later and hasn’t been seen since.

Stuttgart Police Chief Mark Duke, who was a lieutenant in 2014, said in 2019 that the date was stuck in his mind. “I was there the morning she was reported missing,” he said. “And you know, it’s like anything else. You think, ‘alright, she’s mad, she left, we’ll find her.’ And then it went sideways from there.”

“She had stayed the night with family friends and came home, on Sunday,” Duke told KATV. “The mother and her boyfriend were there. She went in, she left a few minutes later, and that’s where the mystery starts.”

Investigation Report

The FBI’s Little Rock field office told the news outlet in a statement that it was aware of the video. “We are following up on the video and taking all investigative steps, but we cannot say anything further at this time,” the agency said.

Stuttgart police are yet to make a statement confirming whether the woman in the TikTok video was indeed Haley Grace Phillips.

Erin Brockovich was born on June 22, 1960 in Lawrence, Kansas. Her fight against the energy company PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric Company) garnered worldwide attention when her story was turned into a 2000 biography film which chronicled her fierce efforts in the case. Despite her lack of formal education in law, Brockovich was largely instrumental in building a case against PG&E of California in 1993, which she accomplished by partnering with a reluctant attorney by the name of Edward L. Masry, based in Thousand Oaks, California. The case alleged contamination of drinking water with hexavalent chronium in the southern California town of Hinkley. The case was settled in 1996 for $333 million, the largest settlement ever paid in a direct-action lawsuit in U.S. history at that point. Since that time, she worked other cases with Masry, such as a lawsuit that was levied against the Beverly Hills Unified School District in 2003, in which the district was accused of harming the health and safety of its students by allowing a contractor to operate a cluster of oil wells on school grounds. She is the president of Brockovich Research and Consulting and works as a consultant for Girardi & Keese and the New York law firm of Weitz & Luxenberg (which focuses on personal injury claims for asbestos exposure), as well as Shine Lawyers in Australia.
