With her condition, she has emerged a force to reckon with in technology. She is one of the top software engineers in Ghana and Africa at large. Farida is the co-founder and chief technical officer of a software company, Logiciel. She has worked as a senior software architect at Rancard Solutions. Farida authored a novel titled the Definition Of A Miracle.
