Many of us had grown up playing various video games. One of the games that we will discuss in this post is an action RPG game ‘Fallout 4’. The video game has been developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth major installment in the ‘Fallout’ series. The game was released on November 10, 2015 worldwide, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The player character assumes as a “lone survivor” and takes refuge in an underground fallout shelter, Vault III. The player leaves after the murder of his spouse and the kidnapping of a son. The player of the game further discovers the ruined world of the game, completes various quests and helps the factions. Fallout 4: Plot and Gameplay
The action role-playing game ‘Fallout 4’ was developed in a similar way to ‘Fallout 3’ and ‘Fallout: New Vegas’. It features a layered armor system, base building, and around 111k lines of dialogue. The game also features enemies such as Mole, Rats, Raiders, Deathclaws, Super Mutants, and fellow Dogmeat. In addition, the player also has the ability to freely move and chat at any time. The game includes more than 50 guns with barrel types and laser focus. Here, a player can select and break down game objects and freely use them to make the structures.
Also, the player can build various defense systems around himself to survive from attacks. The personal computing device, Pip-Boy, strapped to the player character’s wrist, allows them to access a menu with maps, data, and items they have acquired.
Fallout 4: launch, marketing and development
A day earlier, Bethesda posted a countdown timer set to expire at 2:00 p.m. on June 3, 2015, revealing the game along with its box and platforms. Also, on June 14, 2015, the publisher revealed the E3 2015 press conference. Meanwhile, the game was released for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 10, 2015.
Bethesda had announced game details, pricing, and release dates for the first three add-ons on February 16, 2016 . Speaking of its sales, Fallout 4 had sold its 1.2 million copies after its first 24 hours of release. On the day of its release, the game had sold more digital copies than physical ones. Additionally, the game also broke the Grand Theft Auto V record with nearly 470,000 viewers on launch day.
Also, the game ‘Fallout 4’ has received numerous awards and nominations. Includes game publications such as GameSpot, GamesRadar,gaming Revolution,and many more. The game also received a game of the year award from the 19th Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences ceremony known as the Fallout 4 ‘DICE’ numerous nominations for ‘The Game Awards’, ‘The Daily Telegraph’, ‘PC Gamer’, and many others. Furthermore, the video game has also generated a critical and commercial success that has generated US$750 million in the first 24 hours of its release.

The player character assuming the ‘Sole Survivor’ voiced by Brian T. Delaney or Courtenay Taylor. The game then begins to take shelter in Fallout at Vault 111, emerging ten years after Fallout 3 or 210 years later on October 23, 2287. In total, there are thirteen possible characters in the game’s story. First of all, a faithful German shepherd, Dogmeat, is the only required companion. There are six other characters that were found at least. They are Codsworth and the Mayor of Goodneighbour: Nick Valentine voiced by Stephen Russell. The robot butler of the sole survivor, Deacon (voiced by Ryan Alosio), a railroad agent; John Hancock (voiced by Danny Shorago), a synth detective; Piper Wright (voiced by Courtney Ford), a fearless reporter; and Preston Garvey (voiced by Jon Gentry), the reluctant leader of the Minutemen.
The other six possible characters found: are Cait (voiced by Katy Townsend), a cage fighter with an Irish accent; Curie (voiced by Sophie Simone Cortina), a robot scientist turned synthesizer; Danse (voiced by Peter Jessop), a paladin of the Brotherhood of Steel; MacCready (voiced by Matthew Mercer), a mercenary; Strong (voiced by Sean Schemmel), a Super Mutant who sympathizes with humans; and X6-88 (voiced by David Paluck), an Institute Courser.
The other seven companions who became Lone Survivor romance options: Cait, Curie, Danse, Hancock, MacCready, Piper, and Preston.
