Ezra Blount is a 9-year-old boy who was trampled in Travis Scott’s Astroworld concert and is in an induced coma currently.
Singer Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival has been in the news lately. Astroworld is the singer’s own music festival in Houston and around half a million people attended the said concert on Friday.
However, the crowd began to compress sometime after 9 p.m. causing panic among the audiences. People became unconscious due to the pressure and started to fall out during the concert.
So far, the music festival has claimed the lives of eight people and injured others. Some of the injured people are currently in a life and death situation.

Ezra Blount, a huge fan of musician Travis Scott, attended the Astroworld concert with his father on November 5, Friday.
The small boy came across Travis Scott while playing Fortnite. Both Ezra and his father were great fans of him, reported The Sun.
Ezra loved singing and performing. The concert was supposed to be a learning experience for him. His father wanted to introduce him to live music.
However, the experience turned into a nightmare for the entire Blount family.
Ezra was sitting on his father’s shoulder at some point during the concert. His father became unconscious and passed out from the pressure of the crowd.
The boy fell from his father’s shoulder to the ground where he was trampled by the large crowd. Authorities found him alone and injured and rushed him to the hospital.
As they did not know his name, he was initially named John Doe in the hospital. His father later located him and was devastated after seeing his son’s condition.
Ezra is in critical condition. He was put into an induced coma.

Ezra Blount’s father Treston Blount felt horror pass over him when he found his son missing after he came back to consciousness.
He remembered placing his son on his shoulder before passing out. When he finally managed to locate his son’s whereabouts, another bout of horror passed over him seeing his son’s fragile condition.
Ezra’s mother, Tamra is also in a fragile state of mind and has not been able to speak yet.
Taylor Gabrielle Blount, his aunt, said Ezra’s organs have been damaged, and is suffering from brain swelling, reported ABC13.
The doctors informed them there are few chances of survival but Taylor believes he will pull through it.
Taylor said the concert should have been stopped after the first death and there should have been stronger security for the audiences.
Ezra’s grandfather is also devastated by his grandson’s condition.
Furthermore, the family has hired a lawyer Ben Crump to represent them.
