Example was married to the Australian actress and model Erin McNaught. They became engaged in November 2012, and on May 18, 2013, they said “I do” in Australia.
On July 23, 2014, McNaught announced she was expecting a child. Their son, Evander Maxwell Gleave, was born on December 21, 2014. On September 12, 2017, Example announced the arrival of Ennio Stanley Gleave, their second child.

She was born on May 22, 1982, and while growing up, she played in a band called “Short Straw” with her elder brothers. She also became interested in music.
