Are Ashley and Wynonna Judd full sisters?

Ashley Judd (born Ashley Tyler Ciminella; April 19, 1968) is an American actress and political activist. She grew up in a family of performing artists: she is the daughter of country music singer Naomi Judd and the half-sister of country music singer Wynonna Judd.

After eight successful years as a duet, the Judds ceased performing in 1991 after Naomi was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. Soon after, Wynonna embarked on a highly successful solo career. The two have occasionally reunited for special tours, the most recent of which was in 2017.

Ashley Judd is on the mend. The actress’ older sister, Wynonna Judd, shared an update on her recovery following a terrifying accident in the Congo region of Africa in February.
