The Net Worth of Casey Simpson

As of early-2020, Casey Simpson’s net worth is estimated to be over $500,000, earned through a successful career in the entertainment industry, mostly through working with Nickelodeon, but other projects have helped him too.

His YouTube channel shows that he is living a lavish lifestyle, including owning his own house and luxury car.

Early Life and Acting Beginnings

Growing up within the Los Angeles area, Casey was exposed to the very prevalent presence of the entertainment industry. At a young age, he showed a charm about himself which led his parents to bring him to auditions when he was three years old. He made his first television appearance through a sketch comedy segment called “Santa’, which aired on Frank TV, following which he began getting more projects, mostly commercial work.

He showed great memorization skills which attracted more television prospects his way. In 2010, he made a guest appearance during the sixth season of the sitcom “How I Met Your Mother”, in which he portrayed a younger version of Barney Stinson. The show is known for being one of the most popular and successful sitcoms of its time, and which certainly helped in building his budding resume. He then gained his first big screen role, in a Lifetime original film called “Five”, which saw him work alongside actress Demi Moore.

Path to Nickelodeon

Simpson then ventured to voice acting, finding work in the animated film “Despicable Me 2”, a franchise that became a worldwide sensation on numerous fronts, especially with the popularity of its characters known as Minions; he wasn’t credited as a part of the main cast, as he only did additional and minor voices for the film. In 2013, he had a guest role in the television show “The Goldbergs”, a period sitcom set in the 1980s, starring actors Wendi McLendon-Covey and Sean Giambrone.

In 2014, he signed to become a talent for the television network Nickelodeon, which is known for its programming aimed towards kids and teenagers.

The network has gained fame through the airing of cartoons such as “SpongeBob SquarePants” and “Fanboy & Chum Chum”, though one of its stronger aspects is its production of original live-action television sitcoms, including  “Drake & Josh”, “Kenan & Kel”, “All That”, “iCarly”, and “The Adventures of Pete & Pete”.
Numerous stars also originally came from Nickelodeon, including Ryan Reynolds, Nick Cannon, Miranda Cosgrove, Keke Palmer, and many more. The prospect of consistent acting work, great pay, and the possibility of elevating his career were too much for Simpson to ignore.

Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn

In 2014, Casey was cast in the Nickelodeon show “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn” as the titular Ricky Harper; his three siblings were portrayed by Lizzy Greene, Aidan Gallagher and Mace Coronel – the casting had the unique premise that the four were quadruplets. At the start of the show they were nine years old, and were often in conflict with one another. For four seasons, the siblings worked with one another to help solve the problems they encountered. Their mother, Anne Harper is portrayed by Allison Munn, while Brian Stepanek played their father.

The show achieved success for most of its run, with Casey becoming a viewer favorite as he appealed to a lot of children of his age. Thanks to his performance, he was nominated for a Young Artist award alongside the cast of the show. He was also nominated for a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award for favorite television actor, showing that he was one of the most popular Nickelodeon characters at the time.

Later Career with Nickelodeon and Online Endeavors

Concurrently, Simpson participated in other Nickelodeon specials, including “Nickelodeon’s Sizzling Summer Camp Special”, “Nickelodeon’s Not So Valentine’s Special”, and the “Orange Carper: World Clash”.

He also starred in the Nickelodeon film “Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library”, playing the character Kyle Keeley. Following the end of his run with “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn” in late 2018, he’s not yet taken any new Nickelodeon projects. This may indicate that his contract with the network has already ended, or just that he’s moved on.

In recent years, he’s become active online, transitioning from Nick star to online personality.

He achieved strong followership on the website musical.ly, taking advantage of the traction he gained from his television work, and followed it through when musical.ly later became TikTok. The service is one of the most popular short-form video services in the world, gaining a huge amount of popularity in the US as well as in other countries. He also began uploading regularly onto YouTube, posting video blogs (vlogs), challenges, story videos, and inviting other Nickelodeon stars as guests. His channel gained over 400,000 subscribers, but his activity on it waned in 2019 and he’s not posted anything new since July 2019.

Personal Life

At age 15 Simpson is still single, and unlikely focused on finding a long term partner. As he grew up, there were assumptions made about possible romances he’s had with other Nickelodeon talents, but they’ve never been confirmed. His inactivity online and with Nickelodeon may indicate that he’s pursuing another career path, or has focused on completing his education. History has proven that not all child and teen stars go on to become actors during adulthood. Time will tell what path he chooses to follow.
