The Most Extras, a nine-piece cover band, is fronted by Tom Sandoval. However, it seems a logical fit for the Bravolebrity considering that Sandoval is “a peacocker, he’s a preener, he is someone who likes to make an impression,” as his Friend Tom Schwartz recently observed (via GQ).
Sandoval has improved his voice and tendency toward showmanship as a result of his musical activities.
Sandoval claimed that he wants to be taken seriously as a musician in a late 2021 interview with Page Six. He first believed that joining “Vanderpump Rules” would restrict his acting and music careers.
Instead, the show has provided him with a platform to pursue art that is “more honest than anything I’ve ever done.”
Sandoval enjoys the fact that the band performs covers because “everyone benefits from a band like ours.” He told the source that one benefit of being in a cover band is that “people will come, they’ll be able to rock out, and they know the words to these songs.”
“People don’t have to get to know your music,” he noted, “which relieves some of the strain I’ve felt with my past bands.” The reality star has also stated his ambitions for the band’s future, and Sandoval, as always, has huge dreams.
