On August 21, 1999, Cameron was born to his father, Ted Jurgens, and mother, Beth Jurgen. He was born in Nebraska, United States, and is of American Nationality.
Cameron has his athleticism from his mother, Beth Stuart Jurgens, known around the state for her throwing prowess in the 1980s. She was a 12-time NAIA All-American who earned seven national titles in her track events, the shot put and discus, from 1983 to 1987.
Moreover, she was a two-time Academic All-American as well. Stuart established the national indoor shot put a record in 1987 with a toss of 50-8.
Additionally, she set the national championship discus mark in 1986 with a toss of 161-2. In 1987, Jurgens was named Nebraska College Athlete of the Year.
Ted, Beth’s husband, participates in three sports with his mother. The family has a long athletic tradition passed down to the current generation.
