Strycova is a former Czech Tennis player who was listed as No. 1 worldwide for Women’s Tennis Doubles. She decided to retire from tennis after her child’s birth and announced her retirement on May 4, 2021.
During her years as a tennis player, Barbora represented her country Czech Republic in the Fed Cup from 2002 to 2018 and won six different titles there. She also competed at the 2016 Olympics, winning a bronze medal with Lucie Safarova.
Barbora also won her first Grand Slam at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships. Other than that, she has a history of winning 31 titles in the tennis doubles at her WTA Tour.

Barbora Strycova boyfriend Petr Matejcek is a chief editor at a major fashion magazine. Before working at Esquire Petr had worked at Elle Magazine.
She was previously married to her former coach and athlete, Jacub Zahlava. Their marriage lasted for nine years, from 2006 to 2015. After her divorce was finalized, Strycova got into a relationship with Matejcek.
The first picture that she posted with her partner was back in 2019. In her second Instagram account, under the handle, “barbeefun”, where she posts mostly about fashion and lifestyle, she posed for a mirror selfie with Petr and mentioned in the caption that he always has her back.
In September 2022, Barbora posted a selfie with Petr after they completed a 10km race together.

Barbora was in a relationship with Petr when she was featured on the cover of Elle Czech in September 2019.
