In 2003, the Federal Defender earned a degree in political science from St. Mary’s University. Later in 2006, he earned a J.D. in law from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Trigilio joined the Habeas Corpus Resource Center as a staff attorney shortly after completing his formal schooling. He also became a supervising attorney with the Loyola Law School Project for the Innocent beginning in 2012. It has been 11 years since he served in the place.
