For betting on the games, NFL suspended Ridley for the entire 2022 season and he is facing a serious issue since the suspension is indefinite.
Ridley has until February 15, 2023, to submit a petition for reinstatement. The NFL determined that he had not tampered with games or used inside knowledge. According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Ridley had bet on the Falcons to win three parlays.
For the time being, Ridley said he would leave the team and the NFL to concentrate on his mental health and wellbeing. The Falcons agreed with the decision.
