Life was good for Angaleena Presley while she was touring with fellow Pistol Annies Miranda Lambert and Ashley Monroe, she admits.
“You’re supposed to start in a van as a new artist and then you get a crappy bus and then you get an okay bus,” Presley tells PEOPLE.
With the Annies, though, Presley and Monroe were able to travel with Lambert on his opulent tour bus, at least most of the time.
“Ashley and I would sometimes have to take the crew bus back to Nashville if Miranda was going in a different route, and we’d be like, ‘Ew! bus crews! Boys!’” Presley chuckles as he says.
Miranda would then command both of them to stop talking. I spent years riding in a van with ten fartings, foul-smelling lads. You, people, have no idea.”
