Matt Singleton, Ashley Singleton, and Melissa Singleton are Alex Singleton’s siblings. Ashley Singleton has participated in the Special Olympics for more than 20 years.
She is the oldest of the Singleton siblings. She had Down syndrome from birth, and at the age of just two and a half, she took part in her first Special Olympics competition.
Singleton was introduced to Special Olympics at an early age through his sister’s engagement with the group, and he has been a devoted supporter of it ever since his childhood.
Alex Singleton is an American football linebacker for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Montana State University, where he was a two-time first-team All-Big Sky Conference selection.
After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, Singleton signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent but was released during the preseason. He also previously played for the New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings, Calgary Stampeders, and Philadelphia Eagles.
In 2019, Singleton signed with the Philadelphia Eagles and made his NFL debut in Week 11 of the season. He became a regular contributor on special teams and worked his way into the starting lineup at linebacker during the 2020 season.
