BTS, commonly known as the Bangtan Boys, debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment. The septet—Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—co-writes and co-produces much of their own work. Originally a hip hop trio, their style has developed to include a wide range of genres; their lyrics often tackle mental health, school-age youth, coming of age, loss, self-love, and individualism.
