Israeli businessman Zohar Zisapel lived from February 15, 1949, to May 19, 2023. Zohar’s older brother Yehuda Zisapel established a modest, privately held business that specialized in the marketing of data communications technologies in the middle of the 1970s. In the latter half of the 1970s, Bynet delivered data communications products throughout Israel, all of which were produced outside.
Zohar Zisapel left his position at the Ministry of Defense in 1981 and co-founded RAD Data Communications Ltd. with Yehuda. Zohar oversaw the creation of RAD’s initial product, a tiny modem that would completely alter the industry, working out of tight, claustrophobic quarters in the back of Bynet’s buildings. Without a parent company, each company worked autonomously, yet they were all managed under a single overarching strategic plan.
Zohar Zisapel cause of death
A pillar of the local economy and one of Israel’s most well-known technological entrepreneurs, Zohar Zisapel passed away at the age of 74. Unfortunately, it is unknown what caused his death. In 1981, Zohar Zisapel formed RAD Data Communications with his brother Yehuda.
