In pursuit of job opportunities, Nzalo moved to Johannesburg where she secured a job a radio host and also hosted television shows on the former Radio Bop and Bop TV. She made a career change in 1997, after the establishment of Channel O, Africa’s first 24-hour music channel on DSTV, where she got the opportunity to work as the General Manager for the station for three years.
Following a successful career at Channel O, in 2002 Zandile established her public relations agency, Zanenza Communications, which initially focused on PR and communications. In what Zandile considers one of the company’s major milestones, in 2014 she joined forces with the globally recognized audit firm, Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) to oversee implementation of Tshepo 500 000 in Tshwane, an employment creation and entrepreneurship development program aimed at training, skilling and mentoring young people.
