Zahir Jaffer, the killer of Noor Mukadam, was arrested for leaving Islamabad as premeditated killing and attempted escape of Justice. As an update, Adiala Jail doctors say the accused is fit to stand the trial.
Noor Mukadam was 27 years old daughter of a former diplomat, Shaukat Mukadam.
Mukadam was murdered at a house in an upscale neighbourhood, Sector F-7/4, of Islamabad, on July 21st 2021.
Zahir Jaffer allegedly held her hostage for two days, tortured her with a knuckleduster, and decapitated her with a knife.

Zahir Jaffer was arrested and taken to the police station from the crime scene.
The parents of Zahir and the household staff of Jaffer were arrested for hiding evidence and conspiracy.
As reported, Noor made multiple escape attempts, but the household staff refused to permit her to leave.
At the plea of Zahir Jaffer, the court directed the authorities concerned to conduct Zahir’s medical checkup.
The Adiala Jail doctors submitted the report to Judge Atta Rabbani before Additional Sessions.
Prosecution witnesses recorded their statements in the Noor Mukadam murder case.
In the murder case, the cross-examination of witnesses except the investigating officers has been completed.
What Was Noor Mukadam Death Cause?
Noor Mukadam was killed after she refused to accept his marriage proposal by Brass Knuckles and stabbing. The reports suggest that she was raped before the murder.
The murder timeline begins on July 7th, 2021, when Jaffer booked a one-way plane ticket to New York.
Jaffer’s was set to depart at 3:50 AM on July 19th. On July 18th, Jaffer called Noor at home in Islamabad’s Naval Anchorage neighbourhood.
Noor sent a voice message to her mother; it was her last message before her brutal murder.
Jaffer immediately called Noor’s mother from his phone and told her, “Noor is not here at my house”.
Mukadam is believed to have been tortured and murdered by Jaffer.
Noor tried to escape from the balcony, but Jaffer chased her, and the house security guard handed her back to Jaffer.
Zahir Jaffer Mental Health Condition In Jail.
There were concerns about Zahir mental health condition in jail. However, after a detailed checkup by jail doctors, he was declared fit to stand in front of the jury.
According to the doctor, Zahir underwent several medical checkups, and the psychiatrist also examined and declared the accused to be fully fit.
The doctor said that Zahir Jaffer is physically and mentally healthy.
As the investigation and court trial continue, the police believe that the murder could have been prevented if the security guard had informed the police.
Noor’s body showed signs of torture and stab wounds.
Jaffer phoned his parents, leaked in an audiotape revealed that after the murder. The parents called Therapy Works instead of calling the police.
One of the Therapy Works team members was injured upon encountering Jaffer.
