Yvonne Nelson was born on the 12th of November 1985 to O. Nelson and Margaret Gaddy in Accra, Ghana.

The veteran actress is the last child of her parents and was raised alongside three siblings by a single mother as her father left when she was very young.

Yvonne Nelson is a Ghanian by birth and celebrated her 36th birthday in November 2021.

Education

Yvonne Nelson finished from St. Martin De Porres located in Accra, before she proceeded to the Aggrey Memorial Senior High School.

For her tertiary education, Yvonne Nelson attended Zenith University College and Central University, where she bagged a degree in human resource management. The beautiful Ghanian actress also holds a masters degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

Career

Yvonne Nelson had always wanted to be a singer instead of acting in movies. She, however, started her career as a model and went on to become a Miss Ghana contestant.

Her popularity as a model helped her to join the Ghanian movie industry, where she acted in movies likes Princess Tyra and Playboy.

Yvonne Nelson became a movie producer in 2011 and released her debut movie “The Price” that same year. Some of the movies she has also produced include Single and Married, released in 2012, and House of Gold, released in 2013.
