XFL female referees 2023 were Krystle Apellaniz, Amanda Sauer, and six other notable names. XFL referee Krystle Apellaniz called the championship game in Texas.

One of the reasons why XFL is making a big impact is due to its recruitment of more female officials than any other league.

The driving force of this league is to empower women and provide equal opportunities despite having an overwhelming amount of male figures in the world of football.

6 female referees served at the XFL in 2023, which is double in number than NFL which had 3 female referees. Terri Valenti served as the replay judge at the minor league.

XFL is a relatively new league as compared to NFL which has a 103-year-old history. The spring football league was established on 25 January 2018 as the successor to the previous league of the same name.

XFL is becoming an inspiration for females all around the world because there are only a few females who either play or officiate the games.
