According to Cameron Wolfe of ESPN, Xavien Howard was arrested for domestic battery by the Davie Police Department. Wolfe tweeted: “Dolphins CB Xavien Howard was arrested for domestic battery by Davie PD last night in an alleged incident involving his fiancé , a source told ESPN.”

According to police documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Howard got into an altercation with Keli at their Davie, Florida home over a recent purchase of a purse at a store that wasn’t disclosed to her.

The argument turned physical and Howard grabbed her arms and pushed her back up against the mirrored glass wall in the hallway of their bedroom. After Howard let her go, she landed on one of Howard’s crutches.

When the police arrived, they noted Keli had visible scratches and redness on her arm as well as redness and an abrasion on her right elbow. The responding officers arrested Howard and took him into custody on a domestic battery charge.
