Becky Lynch is Irish and was born in Dublin, Ireland on January 30, 1987 which makes her sign the sun Aquarius. Her birth name, as we found it, is Rebecca Quin. Growing up, Becky Lynch (as she would later be called) became interested in various sports activities. She went horseback riding, swimming, basketball and polo.
She began her training as a wrestler in 2002 under the tutelage of Fergal Devitt and Paul Tracey when a wrestling school opened in Ireland. At that time, Becky Lynch was seriously training with her brother Gonzo de Mondo. After five months of training, she began teaming with him in tag team wrestling matches with the ring name Rebecca Knox.
During her career, Becky wrestled across Europe as part of promotions such as France-based Queens and winning the title in 2006, German Stampede Wrestling, England’s One Pro Wrestling and Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling.
Like any other amateur wrestler who aspires to go pro, the big stage was in WWE and for someone as determined as Becky Lynch, there was nothing standing in the way of being a WWE member.
