Wajahat Ali’s parents were Pakistani immigrants. His parents were imprisoned for the wire and mail fraud scheme just because they followed a certain religion. Learn what we know about him.
Wajahat Ali has returned with a new novel, ‘Go Back Where You Came From.’
The Pakistani-American author waited 12 years to give his followers a new book, and the book has received an enormous amount of affection and excellent reviews since its release.
Ali was born and reared in the United States, and in addition to being a writer, he is a columnist for the Daily Beast, a consultant, and a public speaker.
Who Are Wajahat Ali Parents?
Wahajat Ali was born in America to Pakistani parents.
His parents immigrated to the United States and have lived there for almost four decades.
Ali, who has never talked publicly about his parents, is now ready to share his story and give insight into the lives of a child growing up with Pakistani Muslim parents.
Ali’s latest book, ‘Go Back Where You Came From,’ reveals insights about his family and background. His book discusses the American Dream of a Muslim family, as well as how religion and upbringing influence dreams.
One of the few things he has recently acknowledged is that his parents were imprisoned on bogus accusations. His parents, it appears, had a role in the wire and mail fraud scam.
The event occurred following the 9/11 attacks. He detailed how the incident prompted the country to turn on the Muslim community.
Thank you to @TheAtlantic for publishing this condensed excerpt from my book GO BACK. Often times we are told never to air dirty laundry because “what will people say?” I hope this helps us tell our authentic stories, flaws and all. https://t.co/MFYMybU6gk
