Tom Griswold, co-host of The Bob & Tom Show with Chick McGee, Kristi Lee, and Josh Arnold, recently underwent heart surgery and was admitted to the hospital.
Griswold was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on April 22, 1953, the son of Herbert Bruce and Sally Griswold. He graduated from University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio, in 1971 and from Columbia University with a degree in Literature.
He has seven children, three boys and four girls. The children are Sam, Willie, Lucy, Charlie, Sally, Finley, and Hart Griswold. Janet Griswold de Villeneuve is his sister. Daisy and Poppy de Villeneuve are her nieces.

Willie is currently caring for his father Tom at home while the famous Bob & Tom Show host recovers from heart valve replacement surgery.
According to a press release from Dollinger Strategic Communication, the procedure was initially intended to be a repair but was changed to a replacement surgery when it was determined to be better in the long run.
Griswold isn’t expected to be in the studio for several weeks, but a home studio is being built to expedite his return.
Tom’s son, comedian Willie Griswold, has shared that he got locked up in an amusement park, and Tom had to bail him out at 3 a.m. Drew Lynch, a comedian, enters the room, and Tom asks an inappropriate question at the start of the conversation.
