Does Stetson Bennett Have Another Year Of Eligibility – Will He Play This Year?
Stetson Bennett will probably not play this year as he chose to graduate in December. He hadn’t decided whether he wanted to play next season until November.
Although being a fifth-year senior, Stetson had the option to play one more year if he wished to. The NCAA declared last year that FBS players’ 2020 season of eligibility would not count against them, regardless of whether they played during last year’s coronavirus pandemic season.
Bennett received his economics degree from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia in December. What he will go on to pursue after this season is another matter entirely.
On the other hand, Bennett has stated repeatedly this season that he loves football and wants to play for as long as he can.
