Horn was born in Los Angeles and is the daughter of Cindy Horn, a former model and actress, and Alan F. Horn, an entertainment executive and former chairman of Walt Disney Studios.
She went to Harvard-Westlake School and graduated in 2006. She has appeared on Rescue Me and guest starred on three episodes of The Office.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Cody Horn who played the role of Brooke confirmed that she was not in it because “there’s no room for a girlfriend in [the sequel]”
She says she would have loved to have done the sequel, but the role of Brooke did not work in the storyline, which reportedly involves a road trip.
“Of course, I’m bummed, but we spent a lot of time talking about it, and I completely agree that it does not make sense to have Brooke in this movie,” Horn said. She declined to say whether Tatum’s Mike will move on to another love interest this time around.
