The company is the subject of a Senate investigation, which has uncovered additional allegations, including possible tax evasion.
The blue-ribbon committee is currently investigating the allegedly irregular transfer of at least P42 billion in pandemic funds from the Department of Health (DOH) to the Department of Budget.
Pharmally, which had only P625,000 in paid-up capital, was able to secure P11.7 billion in contracts to supply the DOH with face masks and shields, personal protective equipment (PPE), and COVID-19 testing kits.
