The incident took place on the Saturday in his home and he was arraigned two days later on one count of assault and battery.
On the 6th of November at around 10:20 p.m. the assault took place at his home in Mary Pond’s road.
Besides, the case is considered to be a domestic dispute. But, his family member is yet to give a statement to the media regarding what happened that night.

Furthermore, the documents that have been shown at the court mentioned that Keith owns a heavy number of firearms.
Following the incident, Hovan’s license to carry a firearm has been revoked and his firearms are seized by Rochester police.
According to the police stated there was a call that mentioned that a verbal argument lead to a physical. And, when police arrived at the scene, Hovan was covered in what smelled like alcohol and also had a red mark on his forearm.
