Why Was Michael Gove Confronted By An Angry Woman At The Airport?

After being bogged down in lengthy lines at a Greek airport, Michael Gove was challenged by an anti-Brexit traveler.

In the face of a 30-hour delay that she claimed was “compounded” by Brexit, Candida Jones, a former Labour councilor who now works for a Labour peer, criticized the former cabinet minister.

In the bag drop line at the Athens International Airport, the 50-year-old claimed in The Mirror that she engaged Mr. Gove in a 15-minute discussion. As he argued the delays had nothing to do with Brexit, she described the politician as “nice but very passive-aggressive.”

She added that when she asked him to list the “opportunity” brought about by leaving the EU, he included the distribution of vaccines and agricultural reforms.  I reacted by telling him, “You are an educated guy and know what you are telling me is not true, and you have got to stop treating the British people like we’re stupid.
