Why was Joshua angry after the fight?
Joshua is no longer a dominant force in the division and another disappointment was his angry reaction after the fight when he grabbed two of Usyk’s belts and dropped them out of the ring.
He also confronted the champion, asking him how he won, before demanding the microphone to address the crowd.
Anthony Joshua broke down in tears at his press conference after Saturday’s world heavyweight defeat to Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk. ‘I’m upset, really, deep down in my heart,’ Joshua said.
What did Anthony Joshua say after the fight?
Here is Joshua’s speech in full: Joshua said after returning to the ring following an altercation after dropping a split decision to Usyk when he told his opponent:
“I don’t care about strong, I am skilled, skills win boxing, you’re not strong, how did you beat me? How? I had character and determination.”
