The Jonas Brothers are an American pop-rock band. Formed in 2005, they gained popularity from their appearances on the Disney Channel television network. They consist of three brothers: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas.
They starred in the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its 2010 sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. They also starred in their own Disney Channel series Jonas, which was rebranded as Jonas L.A. for its second season.
The band have released five albums: It’s About Time (2006), Jonas Brothers (2007), A Little Bit Longer (2008), Lines, Vines and Trying Times (2009), and Happiness Begins (2019).
In 2008, the group was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 51st Grammy Awards and won the award for Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards.
Six years following their split, the group reunited with the release of “Sucker” on March 1, 2019. The song became the 34th song in history to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the Jonas Brothers’ first number-one single on the chart.
Why is the 4th Jonas brother not in the band?
The sole reason that Frankie Jonas wasn’t a part of The Jonas Brothers band is the fact that he was only five years old when they came onto the scene.
You can’t have a five-year-old going on tour. By the time the band made their comeback last year, they were already established and Frankie had his own life going on.
There’s no shade as to why Frankie wasn’t in his big brothers’ band – he was just a little bit too young at the time, seven years younger than Nick Jonas!
Camp Rock, the Disney film that shot the J-Bros to fame came out in 2008, so Frankie would have only been 7 years old, which is young even for child star standards!
Jonas Brothers band didn’t include young Frankie, but the 20-year-old is the youngest of the brothers – and he’s already been successful in his own right.
He is the youngest of the Jonas clan and is only 20 years old which goes some way to explaining why he wasn’t in the band with his siblings
