Mumme was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing and resisting arrest after an altercation at the Hyatt Regency hotel downtown at 12:24 a.m., according to police.
Officers ordered Mumme to leave the premises many times, according to the arrest citation, but he refused. Mumme is accused of using “physical force and aggression” against an officer who tried to arrest him afterward.
He was set to appear in Fayette district court on Friday at 1 p.m. Mumme is charged with two offenses.
