On April 2, 2021, the Houston Police Department admitted that they started an investigation of Deshaun after a complainant filed an official report. But on April 7, the American multinational corporation Nike suspended their endorsement deal with Deshaun Watson.

A massage therapist from Houston filed a civil lawsuit against Watson on March 16, 2021, saying that Watson touched her with the tip of his erect penis. But Watson denied her statement.

Day by day, there were new cases filed against Watson claiming sexual assaults led by him. Until April 5, twenty-two massage therapists had filed lawsuits against him, and 18 of them came out publicly. Further investigation is going on, and the result will be announced soon.
