While the show revolves around the character Callie played by Maia Mitchell and Marianna played by Cierra Ramirez, the latest development of the show has said goodbye to Mitchell’s character.
On her final appearance on the show, Callie moved to Washington DC after she earned her dream job at ACLU.
Her move from Los Angeles to DC could end up being interesting as her ex Jamie will also be traveling to DC after he coincidentally accepted a new job.
On the send-off episode of Callie, she and Jamie smile at each other with the plane flying off in the sunset.
Why Is Callie Leaving Good Trouble?
On the paper, Callie left Good Trouble to pursue her dream job working at the ACLU.
Although the decision to leave Good Trouble was tough, actress Maia revealed that she is proud of the show giving her character a proper send-off. The episode honors Callie and the Coterie and her journey in a really perfect way, Maia stated.
As for her personal reason to leave the show after 4 seasons, it was her love towards her family. The Australian actress had been busy filming in the USA which led her to be homesick, mostly during the time of the pandemic.
Mitchell has already moved to Australia and has started spending quality time with her family. She is extremely close to her parents Jill Mitchell and Alex Mitchell and brother Charlie Mitchell.
