Meet Katie Lee Husband Ryan Biegel
In the beautiful village of Marina del Cantone on Italy’s Amalfi Coast, Katie Lee married Ryan Biegel in 2018.
Ryan is a well-known television producer who grew up in Florida.
He’s known for his work on reality shows, including Top Chef and The Real Housewives of New York City. According to Mashed, Ryan got his start in 2015 as an associate producer on the now-canceled Best Bars in America.
He’s also dabbled in acting, playing Doug in Cougar Town and other minor roles. According to Vogue, Ryan met Katie Lee in 2016 while working as a producer on the first season of her show, Beach Bites.
After Ryan proposed in Paris, France, in March of 2018, the couple became engaged. Six months later, they married in a grandiose wedding on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. The couple now shares a home in New York City’s West Village.

Katie Lee grew up in the West Virginia town of Milton. Lee earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and food science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 2003.
Katie was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta at the time. She studied at The British Institute in Florence, Italy, for a semester.
She has experience working in a variety of restaurants as well as gourmet food and wine stores. The chef assisted in the opening of Jeff and Eddy’s Restaurant in 2003, where she worked as the house fishmonger.
Lee and his partner Aleishall Girard founded the gourmet website OliveAndPeach.com in July 2005. In September 2006, the website was no longer updated.
She was the inaugural host of Bravo’s Top Chef in 2006. Padma Lakshmi was then cast in her stead by Bravo. In 2010, she returned to Top Chef All-Stars for Episode 2 (“Night at the Museum”) as a guest judge.
Groundswell, Lee’s first novel, was released in June 2011 and is about a woman recuperating from divorce who discovers the healing power of surfing.
