Why do the Jonas Brothers wear rings?

The Jonas Brothers are an American pop-rock band. Formed in 2005, they gained popularity from their appearances on the Disney Channel television network. They consist of three brothers: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas.

They starred in the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its 2010 sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. They also starred in their own Disney Channel series Jonas, which was rebranded as Jonas L.A. for its second season.

The band have released five albums: It’s About Time (2006), Jonas Brothers (2007), A Little Bit Longer (2008), Lines, Vines and Trying Times (2009), and Happiness Begins (2019).

In 2008, the group was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 51st Grammy Awards and won the award for Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards.

Six years following their split, the group reunited with the release of “Sucker” on March 1, 2019. The song became the 34th song in history to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the Jonas Brothers’ first number-one single on the chart.

Why do the Jonas Brothers wear rings?

Jonas and his brothers Nick and Kevin wore the rings at the beginning of their careers in 2005 as a symbol to show that they had chosen to abstain from sex before marriage.

On May 10, the second oldest Jonas brother posted a video mocking his youth and the public scrutiny over his sex life.

All three brothers are now married with children. Jonas and Turner, who are already parents to one-year-old daughter Willa, are currently expecting their second baby together.

Meanwhile, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra announced they welcomed their first child – a baby daughter – via surrogate in January, and Kevin shares two daughters with his wife Danielle Jonas, who he married in 2009.

Sophie Turner has made fun of the Jonas Brothers and called their previously worn eternity rings ‘laughably, toe-curlingly lame’.

The actor was one of the brothers’ wives to take part in a grilling session on The Jonas Brothers Family Roast special, which aired on Netflix on Tuesday.

During the show, The Game of Thrones star and wife of Grammy-nominated singer Joe Jonas had a few things to say about the purity rings that her husband and his brothers previously owned, which she highlighted were only meant to be worn if you’re intending to avoid having sex before marriage.
