Why did Sizzla burn DJ Khaled?

Sizzla, a legendary figure in reggae and dancehall, claims that Grammy Award-winning rapper and tycoon DJ Khaled has “insulted” him.

Sizzla took apart and burnt plaques that were given to him to mark the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) platinum certification for two of DJ Khaled’s albums on which he is featured. Sizzla did this with the assistance of members of his entourage.

Sizzla also burnt plaques he had previously received from DJ Khaled including Khaled’s Father of Asahd of plaque for 1 million copies sold.

Throughout the live show, Sizzla kept repeating, “Yuh insult me, DJ Khaled.”

Though it was unclear why he was furious, Sizzla revealed that he could not see his name on the plaques.
