En Vogue is a seven-time Grammy-nominated R&B group that took the music industry by storm in the 1980s and 1990s. The members of the group were Cindy Herron, Dawn Robinson, Maxine Jones, and Terry Ellis. Unfortunately, they disbanded at one point due to some members splitting from the original group.
Why did Maxine leave En Vogue?
Maxine Jones parted ways and went on to form her own group called “En Vogue to the Max”. Maxine Jones left En Vogue’s cast in 2001 when she needed to focus on her family and was replaced by Amanda Cole for two years.
Why did Dawn leave En Vogue?
Dawn Robinson left En Vogue in 1997 due to reasons unknown. But later on, it came out that what could have accounted for her departure was Poor management and compensation for work. The band, however, resolved to stay together and continue their work as a trio, without Robinson.
