Godolphin and Latymer School is a private girls’ school in Hammersmith, West London, where Kate Beckinsale received her education. Additionally, she participated in the Orange Tree Youth Theatre and won the WH Smith Young Writers Award twice for both fiction and poetry.
When Kathrin characterized herself as a “late bloomer,” she said that she found it disappointing that her peers weren’t undertaking more risky activities like making campfires because they were already engaging in teenage behaviors like kissing boys and drinking cider.
She experienced a nervous breakdown and anorexia at the age of fifteen, and for the next four years attended Freudian psychotherapy to deal with these problems. Beckinsale pursued further education and studied French and Russian literature at Oxford’s New College.
When she was there, she became friends with Roy Kinnear’s daughter, Kirsty. She got the chance to work with Tom Hooper, a fellow student who later achieved prominence as a director, as a result of her involvement with the Oxford University Dramatic Society.
She took part in an Oxford Playhouse production of Arthur Miller’s “A View from the Bridge” directed by Hooper. For the third year, Kathrin studied abroad in Paris to complete the requirements for her Modern Languages classes.
However, she ultimately decided to stop going to school because she thought that both acting and her studies were becoming too hard and stressful. However, she did state that she hoped to eventually complete her education at Oxford University.
Why did Kate Beckinsale leave Underworld?
Possibly for the following reasons, Beckinsale won’t be back for “Underworld 6:” She merely desires to take the lead in such undertakings. Beckinsale obviously has a lot to offer in terms of acting, and let’s face it, anyone can handle five movies worth of stunts in a skin-tight suit.
