The fans of FBI Most Wanted must be familiar with the changes in the cast. This change in the cast is not common because this time the most important character played by Julian McMohan will leave the show.
Let’s find out more about the reason the show creator and the actor decided to end one of the most popular characters in the entire television.
Julian made his character of Jess LaCroix, an FBI special agent, very convincing, and the viewers were attached to him. The news of his character coming to the end was already in the news but people were wondering how will it be done.
People have seen Julian in other projects like Fantastic Four, Runaways, and many others; however, his performance in FBI Most Wanted is the show that gave him the fame he has now.
Why Did FBI Most Wanted Change Cast?
One of the questions people have about the recent change in the FBI Most Wanted cast change is why are they doing changes in a successful cast. The reason, according to creators and the actor, is for more creative freedom.
It hints that the actor must have felt kind of monotonous and so did the creators that the same character was leading for the years. Thus, they agreed to bring changes to the show that could make it fresh.
However, this does not mean that the fandom of Julian was declining; he was loved by the people, and are kind of disappointed to see him leaving. Nonetheless, his departure certainly gives writers more freedom to write.
There are still questions about how will the audience receive these changes in the show. People are well acquitted to see Julian leading the investigation and would a new person fill his shoes.
Julian McMahon Leaving & Dylan McDermott Will be Lead
As the news of Julian leaving the show was public, people were wondering who will be the new lead and it looks like the new lead will be Dylan McDermott. People are excited by the changes.
In the latest episode, McMohan died after getting shot and that was the emotional moment of the show. However, the functioning of the FBI cannot be stopped there, so Dylan will be leading the show from here.
As of now, this decision seems to be the correct one because Dylan has got everything that is needed for being the leader of such a successful show. He is already part of the FBI universe, so the transition to the show would not be incongruent.
No one can gainsay the fact that he is a talented actor, who has won Golden Globe for his role in The Practice. He is already loved by the avid viewers of the show.
