Danny Elfman is a composer from the United States. Elfman provided the soundtrack for both Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2.
He is best recognized for creating both The Simpsons’ primary theme and the 1989 Batman movie theme.
He’s most recognized for scoring the majority of Tim Burton’s flicks.
For Tim Burton’s Batman, he was nominated for four Academy Awards and won a Grammy. He was also nominated for an Emmy for his work on the Desperate Housewives theme.
Why did Danny Elfman leave Spider Man?
Elfman has previously stated that he had a “miserable time” working on Spider-Man 2 with director Sam Raimi and that he was unable to modify his music.
Elfman had originally opted not to return for Spider-Man 3.
The composer for the third film, Christopher Young, has been announced.
Elfman had begun working with Young on the music for Spider-Man 3 in late 2006, according to producer Grant Curtis.
