Why did Brittany Murphy have anemia? How much weight has Brittany lost?

American actress and singer Brittany Anne Murphy-Monjack is best recognized for her parts in blockbuster films including Clueless, 8 Mile, and Girl, Interrupted.

Her parents, Sharon Kathleen Murphy and Angelo Joseph Bertolotti, who divorced when she was only two years old, welcomed her into the world in Atlanta, Georgia in 1977.

Brittany was raised by her mother in Edison, New Jersey, and had a challenging upbringing due to her parents’ financial difficulties. Her mother encouraged her despite this and assisted her in pursuing her ambition to become an actress.

Murphy’s family relocated to Los Angeles in 1991 to give her more opportunities to pursue a career in acting.

She continued her training in singing, dancing, and acting from a young age while attending the Verne Fowler School of Dance and Theatre Arts in New Jersey.

She made her Broadway debut in 1997 and then appeared in a number of films, including the well-known teen film Clueless, for which she is best known.

Murphy, however, died on December 20, 2009, when he was only 32 years old. Some speculated that her misuse of prescription medications was the cause of her undetermined cause of death.

According to the coroner’s report, she died of pneumonia that was made worse by anemia and several prescription medications.

The movie also exposes that Murphy’s extreme underweight was probably the root of the anemia, which the Los Angeles County coroner ruled to be a significant contributing factor in her demise.

In February 2010, an autopsy report that revealed pneumonia as the primary cause of death and iron deficiency anemia as a secondary component was released, and Murphy’s death was formally considered an accident.
