Jasmine Roth and Antonia Lofaso won HGTV Barbie Dream House Challenge tonight. The show premiered on July 16, 2023.
There are four events that make up the Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge. Eight teams of HGTV superstars and one renowned Food Network chef are featured on the program.
The show revolves around the eight teams who are assigned to do a set of tasks each week in order to turn a Southern California home into a real-life Barbie Dreamhouse.
Additionally, each renovated space must draw inspiration from a particular decade in the Dreamhouse. Only then they will be declared the winner.
Every week, one room design will be selected as the winner and at the grand finale whoever can impress the judges will be the title winner.
The winning team will have a donation to charity made in their honor. Also, one lucky Barbie lover will ultimately get the chance to stay in the house.
The Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge show premiered on Sunday, July 16, 2023. The first episode was named Barbie’s First Floor Face-off.
Who Won HGTV Barbie Dream House?
Jasmine Roth and Anthonia Lofaso won the HGTV Barbie Dream House. They are from the show Help! I Wrecked My House and Beachside Brawl.
Anthonia and Jasmine were put against Married to Real Estate stars Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson in the first renovation episode.
Both of the teams needed to transform the first floor of Barbie’s Dreamhouse. They were challenged to follow the 60’s and 90’s inspiration.
Roth and Lofaso made a beautiful 60’s themed kitchen with pastel color, vintage appliances, and a matching patterned backsplash.
Similarly, they also transformed the look of the living room by placing a fireplace burns, and wooden TV dinner trays.
Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge winner adds automatic, mechanized storage in the kitchen’s island, they also made a hidden pantry in the room.
On the other hand, Egypt and Mike recreate the 90s-themed Barbie design. They made a huge custom fireplace, and handmade stained glass windows.
Also, a bright pink curved staircase along with the designs walls. They finished their challenge by designing rooms with splatter paint.
Both of the teams did exceptionally well to complete their themed challenge. They were all satisfied with the final look of the rooms.
However, the head judge of the show along with the guest judges preferred the 60s design and announced Jasmine and Anthonia as the winner of the first episode.
The fans were extremely excited to watch the premiere episode of the show. For them, it was like their dream come true to see Barbie’s house being made.
Some fans of the show are disappointed with the judgment as they felt Egypt and Mike had done their job perfectly than the other team.

Meet The Judges of the Barbie Dream House Challenge
The Barbie Dream House Judges are Jonathan Adler and Tiffany Brooks. They are both renowned celebrity designers and experts.
Jonathan Adler
In the HGTV show Barbie Dream House, Jonathan serves as the head judge. He is an American Potter, interior decorator, and author.
He was a judge on the Bravo network television show Top Design in 2007 and 2007. Later, in 2021 he was in the show Design Star: Next Gen as a Judge.
Jonathan has four published books in his credits and has his own home furnishing business in Soho, Manhattan, and owns 17 other stores.
Tiffany Brooks
Tiffany is popularly known for her design work in the greater Chicago area as well as the renowned face of the HGTV channel network.
She was also named one of The 20 Most Famous Interior Designers. Currently, she is a Lead Interior Designer at her own residential Interior Design Firm.
In 2013, she won the competition show HGTV Design Star. Brooks has been working with HGTV for almost a decade now.
Who Is The Host Of Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge?
Ashley Graham is the host of the Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge. She is an American plus-sized model and television presenter.
She started working as a model at the age of 12. She has worked with several renowned agencies and gained a place for herself.
The actress has also published a book named A New Model which contributes to her advocacy in the body-positive and inclusion movement.
She was in an interracial relationship with Justin Ervin and married in 2009. The couple shares three children together.
Per USA Today, she revealed that she is a huge Barbie fan and she had a wonderful experience watching the renovation in real life.
Graham was looking amazing in her Barbie-themed wardrobe. She has made a staple as the fashionable host of the season.
Ashley also attended the premiere of the new yet-to-be-released Barbie movie in Los Angeles wearing a vibrant dark Nina Ricci gown.
Barbie Dream House Airbnb Price and Features
Barbie Dream House Airbnb Price is yet to be disclosed by the company. However, the booking is open actively from the 17th of July.
The new Brabie’s Malibu Dream House is available for the customer to rent on the Airbnb website or application. Up to four guests can stay in the house.
The guest who is interested in staying at the newly made exotic mansion needs to manage their own transportation to and from Malibu.
The beautiful Barbie-themed house is located in Malibu at the oceanfront mansion. It serves beautiful views and gives the vibe of the new Barbie movie.
The feature of Malibu’s house consists of an infinity pool, wraparound balcony, outdoor disco dance floor, workout area, and a beautiful view.
Airbnb is also offering a free one-night stay in Barbie’s Malibu Dream House. The two individual guests can stay up to one night on July 21 and 22.
As said earlier, the booking can be done from July 17 and the company will select four lucky guests (two per night) to spend a night at the villa.
As the live-action film hit the cinema house, the makers of the film wanted a few of the lucky members to experience the life of Barbie and Ken.
This all falls under the marketing campaign of the film and the actor of the movie Ken played by Ryan Gosling is hosting the stay himself.
