Authorities said two people who had gone missing were discovered dead in a vehicle, drowned in the Stanislaus River. The truck was discovered by a Spring Creek Country Club worker near the southeastern area of the golf course on Tuesday, according to a Ripon Police Department announcement.

Both women’s families reported them absent after continuously phoning their phones and receiving voicemails in the hours following the wedding. 

Ros reasoned that since Xylona had driven them to the wedding, they could have opted to go there instead. Ros traveled to Spring Creek Country Club, using back roads to seek any trace of Xylona’s car or an accident after calling Alyssa early Monday and still getting no answer.

He filed a police report in Ripon and called his daughter’s phone every 30 minutes during the day. 

Xylona Gama’s Dead Body Has Been Found: Death Cause Explored

The corpses of Xylona Gama of Stockton and Alyssa Ros of Long Beach were discovered in the automobile, according to authorities. The death cause has been described as drowning.

Authorities from the Ripon Police Department and the Stockton Police Department were conducting a missing person inquiry after both were said to have been at a golf course function on Sunday night.

The incident is still being looked into. Ripon police said Wednesday that a Country Club worker discovered a car in the Stanislaus River at the golf course’s southeastern end on Tuesday. Officers, firemen, and rescue workers were dispatched to the area to investigate and collect the car from the river. Inside, Alyssa and Xylona were discovered dead.
