Ryan Moran, a student from Tir na gCapall in Ballybrit, Galway, has been missing since November 2 of last year.
On February 24, he was discovered dead.
Let’s learn more about the deceased and his family.
Who Was Ryan Moran Killala?
In Galway city’s Seamus Quirke Road district, Ryan Moran, a resident of Killala, Co. Mayo, was last seen on Thursday morning, February 24.
Ryan Moran is 5′ 8″ tall, slim, and has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last spotted wearing black pants and a grey sweatshirt.
Since that sighting at approximately 5 a.m., Ryan’s family and friends have been unable to reach him, prompting extensive searches around the River Corrib throughout the last week.
The Coast Guard helicopter, the Garda, personnel of the Fire Brigade, and volunteers were all involved in the search, with the family pleading with him to call them.
Grainne Uaile Sub Aqua Club members joined the hunt after a hitch was taken from their boat trailers stored at the Galway Sailing Club last weekend.
His body was recovered a week after that.
