Nicolas Cage is an American actor, producer and director, who was born on January 7, 1964, in Long Beach, California. He is known for his eclectic acting style and has appeared in over 100 films throughout his career.
Cage comes from a family of actors, and he began his career in the late 1970s appearing in several small roles in films and television shows. He gained wider recognition in the mid-1980s with his performances in “Valley Girl” (1983) and “Raising Arizona” (1987).
He went on to star in numerous popular films, including “Moonstruck” (1987), “Leaving Las Vegas” (1995), for which he won an Academy Award for Best Actor, “Con Air” (1997), “National Treasure” (2004) and “Ghost Rider” (2007).
In addition to acting, Cage has also produced and directed films. He has been recognized for his contributions to the film industry, receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1998.
Who was Nicolas Cage married to for 4 days?
Nicolas Cage was married to Erika Koike for 4 days. They got married in Las Vegas in March 2019, but Cage filed for an annulment four days later, citing reasons that included being too intoxicated to understand his actions when he married Koike. The annulment was granted in May 2019.
The marriage, according to Cage, was invalid for a number of reasons when he applied for an annulment. He first said that he was too inebriated to understand what he was doing. Okay. That is acceptable. Then there was some indefinite chatter about Koike having a drug dealer “friend.”
Additionally, Koike was accused of fraud by Cage because she failed to fully reveal “to [Cage] the full nature and extent of her relationship with another person.” Koike, in other words, has a little more money.
The truth that she had duped Cage by concealing her criminal past, however, was the true shocker. She was accused of domestic abuse against her ex-husband in 2006. The accusation of domestic violence was dropped. But everything ended poorly with a messy divorce in 2014.
