The name of the deceased kids are; Estella Zoo Siab Lee, Quadrillion T. Lee, and Phoenix Lee, ages 3, 4, and 5, respectively. The death cause of the children is smothering and drowning.

Molly Cheng was a married woman. Her husband, Yee Lee, committed suicide on July 1. That day was Friday. The incident happened early in the morning. When Cheng called the cops, it was 10:37 a.m.
Police received a call from Cheng’s relatives a few hours after her husband’s death, reporting Cheng planned to kill herself and her three kids. The police became alert and soon began investigating the area.
The officers finally found her vehicle, car key, and kid’s shoes on the lake’s east shore around 6: 23 p.m. During the investigation, police discovered the unresponsive bodies of the three kids and mom. They were pronounced dead on the spot.

Molly Cheng, 23, took her own life on July 2, 2022. She drowned the children in Vadnais Lake on Saturday. Police shared sincere condolence with the bereaved family on Tuesday.
The statement reads, “Our prayers to the family, friends, and community impacted by this tragedy,” said Undersheriff Mike Martin. The Sheriff’s Office continued investigating the causes of this incident to provide clarity and closure to the surviving family members.
The authorities announced the family’s cause of death is homicide. The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office stated Quadrillion and Estella expired from drowning and smothering, while Phoenix died by drowning. Their deaths were ruled homicides. Officer said, “Cheng died by suicide by drowning.”
