Cudahy resident LeAnna Owen was an enthusiastic member of the Dancing Grannies who was one of the victims of the Waukesha Parade.
She was in charge of an apartment complex.
“She didn’t have a mean bone in her body,” said Dave Schmidt, owner of the two 32-unit buildings Owen managed.
She was the most lovely lady. She was the glue that held our apartment complex together. “She will be greatly missed.”
Owen had lived at another property owned by Schmidt’s family before managing the properties on South Packard Avenue for about ten years.
